Every time the young Kym Mazelle plaied Aretha Franklin music in her room on the topI100r in
Gary (Indiana), her mother yelt her "low down the volume, look at the neighbour'7.
But close to her lived dancing and singing the famous Jackson Five, so Kym continued lo punnp up
the volume.
She explain, ' I usually telephoned to oncle Tim just to know if they needed another singer, but
perhaps they didn't!"
After leaving Gary (Indiana), she went to the Missouri University and then to Chicago to study
Opera singing at the Mundelein College of music where, 'cause of the many lessons to test
capabilities, she lost many time laughing.
The Opera singing is totally different" she said, "but it learnt me the discipline that let me do all that
I did".
Needing a job, Kym found it at the Dl International Records and she began to meet people that let
her know Marshall Jefferson.
Jefferson was the producer of her firsts two singles "Taste My Love" and "I'm A Lover", both went
out at the beginning of 1988 and Kym started to be knew like the Queen of the House Music
In 1989 she had a tour around the Euriope with Ten City group. Her talent grow up and with a voice
that run from the pop music until the opera singing was sure that Kym early should bacame anothe!
diva of the disco music.
She alwais say, "A lot of house music house was simply a check for me with singers not very able".

In 1989 here you are the first album of Kym: "CRAZY" that tested her true voice. In 1991 the new
LP "BRILLANT" on EMI record, include some song remixes of her first album CRAZY. Some
classics song like "Useless", "Love Strain" and "Was That All It Was" had the magic touch of r emi
fi-om people like David Morales, C+C Music Factory and Steve Hurley.
Kym was the singer leader of the group "SOUL II SOUL" too and she was in tour all over the world
with the famous success "Missing You" that she wrote with the band. In 1993 she wrote with the
Rapino Brothers another success "Love Me The Right Way" on the top in Europe and in IJ.S.A.
In 1994 Kym Mazelle has a new contract with "ARISTA", that give to her a new duet success with
Joselyn Brown entitled "Enough Is Enough" and than another song covered from ZZ TOP Gimme
All Your Loving".
In 1995 Kym Mazelle met an italian produced band KAMASUTRA that produce the song "LOVE
ME OR LEAVE ME" went out in this days in Italy on WILD BLACK record, distributed by Zac
Music and it is showing in front of everybody like one of the record most beatiful of the Summer
1995 In fact it is yet on the top twenty and probably it will early arrive on the top of the CHART
because is a big hit.
